Neuromodulator Therapy (Botox/Xeomin/Dysport)

You may not have heard of “neuromodulator therapy”, but you have most likely
heard of Botox (botulinum toxin). This is the brand name of the neuromodulator. The basic concept of neuromodulator therapy is a very small amount of the neuromodulator is injected into a muscle that is causing wrinkles. Lines and wrinkles form from a continual repetitive contraction of the muscles underneath the skin. Neuromodulators temporarily inhibit a muscle from contracting which causes the skin to relax and subsequently the wrinkles go away. Neuromodulators are a temporary cosmetic procedure, and their effects can last for approximately 3-6 months.

At Trinity Hills Dental, we use neuromodulator injections to help with forehead lines, frown lines and crows’ feet. We also can use neuromodulators to help with patients that grind their teeth.

We have received special training to understand how best to help our patients achieve a more youthful appearance safely and successfully.
